Subtitled 'The only aeronautical weekly in the French language'. French aerospace industry magazine covering world aviation news and current affairs. The contents mainly comprises a large number of very short features on a wide range of French-biased contemporary aviation topics. Typical contents comprises: The weeks headlines, financial news and economic affairs, industry news, technology news, civil aviation/air transport news, space news, defence news. In addition to the news sections, there are usually a couple of short feature articles of topical interest. A table of contents in English is also included in each issue.
A4 size glossy magazine with 52 pages in each issue, illustrated with many colour photos and diagrams. A number of special issues are published each year on selected subjects. Published under the title 'Air & Cosmos Aviation Magazine International' for a while during the early 1990s. First published in 1962.

Weekly aviation news magazine, launched upon the liberation of France, which provided the latest information on WW2 air operations and the rebirth of the French aviation industry until the German surrender, and then carried on until at least October 1945 (issue 35). Issue No 1 was dated 07/02/1945.

Subtitled Le monde de l'aviation et l'aviation du monde. Weekly aviation news magazine printed on newspaper newsprint with b+w illustrations. First published in 1921. Issues printed after WW2 after have better print quality and many more photographic illustrations. Continued until late 1963 when it was taken over and absorbed into the fortnightly 'Aviation Magazine'.

First published in 1950, under the title 'Aviation Magazine'. Renamed 'Aviation Magazine de L'Espace' by December 1960, and by January 1964 had adopted the title given above. By January 1964 it had absorbed and incorporated the rival magazines 'Les Ailes' and 'L'Air et L'Espace', and in January 1966 it also absorbed 'Air Revue'.
Typical contents comprised a combination of some of the following sections: Aerospace News, Astronautics, General Aviation, Feature Articles, Equipment, Industry, Defence, Parachuting, History & Spotting, Air Routes, Techniques, Gliding. The feature articles described the latest aircraft types in detail, the activities of the aircraft industry in various European countries, aircraft preservation etc. The History & Spotting section was directly aimed at enthusiasts and included a Your Questions Answered column, book reviews, multi-part features on historical subjects such as the products of French aircraft companies or aircraft operated by a specific air force, looking back at historical events etc. The multi-part articles frequently comprised as many as 20 parts.
Approx 80 pages per issue, on larger-than-A4 size glossy paper. Illustrated with many b+w and colour photos, large 3-view line drawings, cutaway line drawings, line diagrams, and some colour profiles.
An excellent general interest aviation magazine, but unfortunately it was taken over and merged into the inferior aerospace news magazine 'Air & Cosmos' in April 1992.

Previously entitled 'La Vie Aérienne' (see below), but with the outbreak of WW2 adopted the present title (issue 160). It included extensive coverage of WW2 operations on all fronts, whilst also looking back through aviation history - particularly at the French fighter aces of WW1. Published fortnightly. From issue 172 it changed it's title to 'La Guerre Aérienne et Navale' and included warship actions. Continued until the end of May 1940 (issue 181).
