'Der Adler'
[Luftwaffe, ISSN n/a ]

Fortnightly propaganda magazine published by the Luftwaffe before and during WW2. Published in both German and English, it's purpose was to publicise the Luftwaffe within the ranks of the Air Force and to publicise the growing might and power of the Luftwaffe internationally.

18-30 pages in each issue, lavishly illustrated with many b+w photos and some colour photos. Some typical feature articles include: Ju 52 transport pilots on the eastern front, aerial photography, Australia’s role in the Pacific war, squadron emblems, training radio operators, a visit to Finland, "Low-level attacks on Soviet troops," use of Stukas against Soviet tanks (complete with aerial photographs annotated with tactical figures), heavy bombs against England, a dive bombing squadron before Stalingrad, helicopter flight dynamics, 'Knight’s Cross' medal winners, and more.

'Flugsport'
[Verlag Flugsport, ISSN n/a ]

Twice-monthly technical magazine of aviation. The oldest German aviation magazine. Featured numerous detailed illustrated articles on all aspects of aviation. First published in 1909 and continued until at least 1938. Average of 22-30 pages per issue, (17 cm x 26 cm), with many illustrations and technical drawings in b+w. Edited by Oscar Ursinus. No further information.

'Illustrierte Flug-Woche'
[Verlag Dr. Stein & Kroll, ISSN n/a ]

Twice-monthly magazine of commercial aviation. 'Magazine for the promotion of aviation in the service of German economic life and international traffic'. Featured detailed illustrated background reports on many ranges of aviation topics. First published in 1919 and continued until at least 1928. Average of 24 pages per issue, with many illustrations in b+w. No further information.
