Introduction

This is a survey of Italian aviation, defence and aircraft scale modelling magazines. Italian aircraft magazines are highly regarded by aviation enthusiasts for their in-depth coverage of Italian and world aviation. Italy has been a very air-minded country since at least the 1920's, and its chequered history in the first half of the Twentieth Century has left it with a rich source of aviation hstory.

Most Italian magazines publish only 11 issues per year - with a combined July-August issue to cover the holiday period.

All magazines are Italian text only, unless otherwise stated.
