First published in 1957, and now like Flug Revue (see below) part of the giant Stuttgart-based Motor-Presse Group, aerokurier is essentially a magazine for pilots by pilots and is the official publication of the German Aero Club, AOPA Germany and Club der Luftfahrt e.V. However it is also aimed at those employed in the industry as well as young people interested in aviation.
Using many colour and b&w photos it includes the expected ingredients: news and features on light aircraft flying and ownership, engines, gliders, air traffic etc, combined with flight tests on both fixed- and rotary-wing types. Circa 138 pages each issue. (German text). The publisher was originally called ‘Vereinigte Motor-Verlage’.
