‘Air Forces International’ was a monthly military aviation magazine with a strong scale modelling emphasis. Typical contents was: kit and decal reviews, photo feature, modern combat aircraft type in close-up with scale drawings, world air forces news, aircraft of the fifties: scale drawings, WW2 aircraft modelling manual – scale drawings and markings details, air force serials listing, museum news.

It was first published in January 1988. Each issue was of A4 size, with 28 pages each, illustrated with b+w and colour photos, scale drawings, many tone profile drawings, colour profiles etc.

It was replaced by ‘Sky Warriors’ in 1991. The Managing Editor was Micheal Bonello, with Art Editor Richard J Caruana, who was also the publisher.
