The first issue, dated April 1995, was included as a supplement to ‘Air Forces Monthly’. It became a stand-alone publication from issue 2. A magazine dedicated to air forces and military aircraft worldwide since 1945. An A4 size publication, with 24 pages each, illustrated by b+w photos and some line drawings and colour covers. Each issue comprised 2-4 pages of news, a What’s On column detailing deployments and exercises, plus features on air forces, military aircraft production lists, a specific aircraft type in service with an air arm etc. Many issues also included a Military Surplus column detailing the subsequent identities of ex-military aircraft. Lots of serials listings and air force order of battle information. Ceased publication April 1996 (Issue 13) and absorbed into ‘Air Forces Monthly’.
