‘Air Power International’ was originally launched as a monthly magazine, but went bi-monthly from issue 20 (April/May 1996). Illustrated entirely in colour, it was a largely pictorial magazine concentrating on modern military aviation worldwide. Following a well-illustrated news section, each issue comprised a series of short 2-5 page articles with several photographs and the minimum of text plus a longer article across the centrespread of 10-15 pages. The feature articles mostly comprised photographic reports from airshows, military exercises, base visits and other newsworthy events. A high-quality glossy A4 size full colour magazine with 48 pages and more than 80 colour photographs in each issue. The first issue was dated September 1994. Reached at least Issue 24 (December 1996/January 1997).
