Bi-monthly publication with an emphasis on British Columbia aviation history, distributed to the British Colombia aviation community as well to members of The British Columbia Aviation Museum. Its editor was Jack Schofield, a noted commercial seaplane pilot and artist/writer. First published in 1991 under the title ‘BC Aviator’ – Vol 3 No 2 was dated Oct/Nov 1993. As the readership expanded the title was changed to ‘West Coast Aviator’ in 1995. When expanding the magazine to Canadian national distribution in 1999, the name was changed again to ‘Aviator’ (see the entry for ‘Canadian Aviator’ below). While maintaining it’s western flavour, new writings and new writers embraced the entire Canadian aviation scene.
