Bi-monthly spotters magazine, with some 60 pages in each issue. ‘Centerline’ was the official magazine of the Valkenburg Aircraft Spotters Foundation (SVVS) and was exclusively distributed amongst the contributors of the foundation. ‘Centerline’ was published six times a year and contained the following sections: Valkenburg aircraft movements – a review of all military movements at the one and only Naval Air Station for fixed wing aircraft in The Netherlands (includes full details of serials, aircraft types and callsigns), Royal Netherlands Navy Aviation News – the latest news about Europe’s largest P-3 fleet and Valkenburg NAS, Military Aviation News – some of the latest news and interesting facts on worldwide military aviation, Spotter Reports – travel reports written by local Valkenburg spotters on their trips around the world’s military airfields (including movements), P-3 Orion News – two-monthly update on the Lockheed Martin P-3 Orion compiled by the P-3 specialists of the P-3 Orion Research Group, Features – all sorts of aviation subjects. Articles about aircraft types, air forces, squadrons, etc. Included many photographs. SVVS was founded in 1984. Sadly the closure of NAS Valkenburg brought about a decline in membership and SVVS disbanded in Autumn 2007.
