‘Defense Week’ was a weekly newsletter specialising in up-to-date information on the US armed forces and their relationship to the defense industry. It aimed to supply both breaking news focused on immediate events in military affairs, and thoughtful pieces on the overall direction of military affairs and where the defense establishment is headed. Significant emphasis was placed on reporting events in the Pentagon. ‘Defense Week’ was first published in 1980. It was replaced by ‘Defense Today’, published 5 times a week, from late February 2004.
