The innovative concept used for this collection involves 1:100 scale die-cast metal aircraft models with panoramic fold-outs, each made up of four A4-sized cards. They combine rare photos, colour sideviews, development histories and operational details of famous aircraft with portraits and biographies of those who flew them. Following an introductory starter pack, featuring both Adolf Galland (Bf 109) and Johnny Johnson (Spitfire), subsequent single additions to the collection are sent to subscribers for 14 days` approval at a rate of one every four weeks.
