‘JAS Jottings’ is the Quarterly magazine of the IPMS UK Japanese Aviation SIG. Currently in its eighth year, each issue has at least 26 pages, plus an additional colour sheet covering all aspects of Japanese Aviation from 1910 to the present, although WWII related topics predominate. There have been feature articles on Frank, Nell / Tina, Sally / Topsy, Seiran, JMSDF S2F and YS-11 aircraft, Oscars over Burma, JNAF Attack Bomber and Carrier Attack Bomber evolution, JAAF/JNAF Aircraft Nomenclature and Japanese Aircraft Manufacturers 1910-1945, as well as continuing series on A to Z of Japanese Imported Foreign Aircraft (Curtiss to Hanriot) and IJN Ship Borne Aircraft Tail Codes, also comments, queries, reviews, sales and wants, etc… There was even a special issue to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the famous Zero Fighter.
