Remarks
Title translates as “The Modellers’ Showcase”. ‘La Vitrine du Maquettiste’ was first published in a small, 17cm x 25cm, format with stiff card covers. Number 1 was published in the 4th quarter (October) of 1975 and the magazine continued quarterly in the same small format up to and including number 14, in the 2nd quarter of 1982. Number 15 was in A4 format and the magazine reached at least number 47 in 1996. A general scale plastic modelling magazine, but the contents mainly concentrated on aircraft. It included very detailed profiles of French and Belgian aircraft types. Illustrated with 3-view drawings, detail drawings, photos, colour illustrations, insignia etc. Replaced at an unknown date by a much less ambitious newsletter called ‘La Lettre de l’IPMS’, with merely reports club news, dates of meetings and news of the internationals IPMS branches.
