‘Model-Aire International’ was a scale aircraft modelling magazine. It contained feature articles on unusual subjects, kit reviews, decal reviews, book reviews etc. The subjects covered were almost entirely non-US military aircraft, with an emphasis on unusual markings. For some strange reason it also included 3 pages of AFV modelling in each issue. Each issue typically comprises 28 pages, with no photos but several shaded profile drawings. It was first published in 1971. An A-Z listing of aircraft kits was begun in Vol.2 No.7. It ceased publication at an unknown date in favour of a new publication called ‘Encyclopedia of 1/72 Scale Models’ (ESM 72).
