First issue dated April/May/June 1973. Initially published quarterly under the title ‘PAM News’, but renamed ‘Plastic Aircraft Models’ at issue 13, increased frequency to bi-monthly from January/February 1978 (issue 20) and monthly from February 1979 (issue 26).

A scale modelling magazine for aircraft enthusiasts with an emphasis on super-detailing and aircraft markings. A glossy A4 size publication, with b+w photos, tone profiles and scale drawings. Taken over by Model & Allied Publications Ltd and soon absorbed into ‘Scale Models’. Last issue dated July 1980. The editor for all issues was Ron Firth.
