Subtitled For Aircraft Modellers. ‘Plastic Kit Constructor’ focuses exclusively on researching and building plastic aircraft kits, both vintage kits and current releases. Features include “sketch pad” showing details of various aircraft, kit and product reviews, scale drawings, construction articles, and tools and techniques. The editor is Ron Firth, who launched the original aircraft modelling magazine ‘PAM News’.
Originally an A5 format magazine, it went to A4 size with issue 12. A glossy A4 size magazine with 28 pages, illustrated with many b+w (and later colour) photos, line drawings and sketches. First published in 1983. Vol.13 No.4 was dated Autumn 1996. In 2003 the title was taken over by Albatros Productions, publishers of ‘Windsock International’, but appears to have ceased publication after issue 78, Vol.21 No.3, in 2005.
