The Battle of Britain Society is dedicated to keeping the memory of the Battle alive, through educating younger people and by commemorating the men and women who fought in the Battle. It publishes a monthly newsletter/magazine on the activities of the Society which includes recollections and articles contributed by members on various aspects of the Battle – most of which had never appeared in history books.
The magazine started off in the mid 1990s as a newsletter comprising half a dozen plain A4 pages kept together with a single staple. In 1999 a new format was introduced which saw the introduction of a magazine-style format with a glossy blue cover. A possible switch to a quarterly publication is being considered.
