‘Small Air Forces Observer’ is a military aviation magazine devoted to the history and modelling of the smaller air forces worldwide. It features good original material and very rare photos. A typical issue includes: abstracts from aviation magazines; wants & disposals; several feature articles (illustrated with scale line drawings, tone drawings or b+w photos); letters; book reviews; magazine reviews; kit and decal reviews. Each issue has typically 28-32 pages, and is illustrated with b+w photos, scale line drawings and profile drawings. It was first published in January 1975.
