Remarks
‘The Squadron’ was a scale plastic modelling magazine published by the well-known chain of model shops. It covered a wide range of subjects including conversions, tips, reviews etc. for aircraft, AFV’s, figures, ships and dioramas. The feature articles were mostly on World War 2 related subjects. Each issue contained several colour pages, and concluded with a catalogue listing modelling products available from the shop. It was first published in 1970 and ceased publication in late 1973 with Vol.4 No.3. Subsequently, Squadron’s colour catalogue adopted the same name. [*] Contents Listing, Vo.1 No.1 – Vol.4 No.4
