Description
‘Today’s Pilot’ was a late comer to the field of General Aviation magazines, only being launched in October 2000. Since then it had established itself as a popular magazine within the recreational flying community. Aimed primarily at the modern private pilot, it covers a wide range of aviation activities, from gliders to ultralights and from kitplanes to light twins. Each issue included a full round-up of GA news, an aircraft flight test, aircraft surveys, product reviews, plus regular features on training, navigation, technical issues, meteorology and aircraft systems. The emphasis for many of the articles was on information for student pilots, rather than already qualified flyers.
A glossy A4 size magazine, ‘Today’s Pilot’ was exceptionally well illustrated, using high-quality colour photography.
