  1. Hi I have complete set of 1935/ 36 of this magazine , War in the Air .At 81 years old think it’s about time I let another have a look at them .If you need info on the Vickers “ Wellesley “ with the Wallis “geodetic “ wing construction this is the magazine. Best offer secures. Regards Trevor Neale.

  2. This is a note addressed to Trevor Neale: I’m afraid I am not the buyer you are seeking (although I hope you have good luck finding someone to buy what I’m sure is a very desirable set). I am hoping to impose on your goodwill by asking if you could help me with a biography I am writing of the WWI Camel pilot Captain D.V. Armstrong. I understand that the writer Grenville Manton wrote several articles which included descriptions of Capt Armstrong as an exceptional pilot, but have only been able to locate one. I know Manton contributed to Part 6 of the ‘War in the Air’ series, and I was wondering if you could perhaps check whether he mentions Armstrong there. I can’t think of any other way to find out!
Thanks in advance if you can help …
    Regards, Annette Carson
