‘Warbirds International’ focuses on vintage combat aircraft and their restoration. It is aimed at people who appreciate, restore and fly legendary warplanes and want to learn about them through well illustrated articles about veteran pilots, combat accounts, restoration techniques and the world’s aircraft museums. It was first published quarterly under the title ‘Air Progress – Warbirds International’ [ISSN: 0885-2502] from 1982. It went bi-monthly in 1988. Until about 2003 it was published 9 times per year, but is now published only 6 times per year. Well illustrated with good b+w and colour photos.
