The Aviation Society (TAS) is the largest aviation society outside London, with over 2000 members. Members receive the monthly magazine ‘Winged Words’. With 80 to 90 pages in each issue, it contains regular sections detailing the Society’s news and activities, together with comprehensive reviews of aircraft visitors to Manchester Airport.
