'Scramble'
[Dutch Aviation Society, ISSN 0927-3417]

First published in October 1979. A spotters magazine covering Dutch movements, world civil news, world military news, reg'n updates, wrecks & relics news, accidents, airshow and airband radio news, airfield reports. Includes regular feature articles on air forces, airlines or production lists at the back of each issue, plus Fokker news and a Dutch civil register update. A5 size, with 120-140 pages each in recent years, illustrated by a superb selection of b+w photos. Europe's best spotting magazine, and the best source for air force order of battle and serials information since the demise of the UK magazine SEAR.

Previously written entirely in Dutch, from about 2004 the editors experimented with increasing the amount of English text in the magazine, and this proved popular. So from issue 332, January 2007, Scramble switched to an all-English text. This is an extremely welcome move, and should launch Scramble into quickly becoming the world's premier spotting magazine.
