Introduction This is a survey of Slovak aviation, defence and aircraft scale modelling magazines. All magazines are Slovak text only, unless otherwise stated. 'HT Model Magazin' [HT Model, ISSN 1335-3667] Quarterly scale plastic modelling magazine. A4 size with colour photos, colour profile drawings and line drawings. Covers vehicles, AFVs and aircraft. First published in late 1998, the magazine appears to have ceased after issue 21. The magazine also produced a series of HT Model Special's, dedicated to modelling various types of aircraft and helicopters. After issue 21 the publisher appears to have become a model shop, but has continued to release Specials from time to time. 'Obrana' [Magnet Press Slovakia, ISSN 1336-2910] Title means 'Defence'. Published fortnightly since 1999 on behalf of the Slovak Defence Ministry. Magazine of the Slovak Republic Defence Forces.
