'Aero'
[Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, ISSN ?]
'Aero' was published quarterly by Boeing Commercial Airplanes and distributed at no cost to operators of Boeing commercial aircraft. It provided operators with supplemental technical information about Boeing and Douglas aircraft. It included features about safety and maintenance. Issue 1 was dated January 1998. Publication of 'Aero' magazine was suspended with the July 2003 edition.

Subtitled 'magazine of naval sea control and maritime patrol'. Publication issued twice a year portraying the use of the P-3 Orion and S-3 Viking in their maritime roles. No further information.

'Boeing Airliner'

'Boeing Airliner' was published by the Boeing Company in Seattle to provide airline customers with technical related information on Boeing products. It was published monthly between 1962 and 1979 at least, and appeared bi-monthly by 1989. In 1998 it was replaced by 'Aero' magazine (see above).

'Boeing Forum'

'Boeing Forum' was published monthly by Boeing Commercial Airplanes to provide a regular summary of it's ongoing business activities, as well as news and information about its products and services. It was discontinued after the November 2002 issue, and replaced by 'Boeing Frontiers' (see below) which covered the full range of Boeing activities - not just airliners. 8-16 pages in each issue.

'Boeing Frontiers'

'Boeing Frontiers' is the current in-house magazine of the Boeing Company. It is issued monthly to publicise the company and to inform it's employees of the wide range of activities it undertakes. Launched in May 2002. Vol.3 No.4 was dated August 2004.

'Code One'
[Lockheed Martin, ISSN 1071-3816]
'Code One' began as a quarterly publication of the Product Support department of General Dynamics in 1986. It is now produced by Lockheed Martin at Fort Worth. The magazine covers customer communities that operate military aircraft products of Lockheed Martin - i.e. the C-130, F-16, F/A-22 and JSF. It therefore features well illustrated articles on the products and services of LMTAS, but also includes topics that appeal to broader audiences. Early issues had colour covers with black and white inside pages, but more recent issues are sought after for the high quality colour photography featured in each issue. Vol.18 No.4 was dated 4th Qtr 2003.

'Grumman Horizons'

'Grumman Horizons' was the quarterly employee magazine of the Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corp (later Grumman Aerospace) before the merger with Northrop. Volume 6 No.2 was dated 1966. No further information.

'Lockheed Horizons'
[Lockheed Corporation, ISSN 0459-6773]
'Lockheed Horizons' was an irregular magazine published by Lockheed before the merger with Martin Marietta. It included very well illustrated feature articles on Lockheed aircraft products, including the F-117 stealth fighter. Issue No.1 was dated Spring 1965, and it continued until at least August 1992 (issue 31). Each issue comprised about 84 pages of text, b+w and colour photos and colour drawings.

'Of Men And Stars' was published by the Lockheed Aircraft Corp during the 1950s. It featured articles and photos of company history, events, and aircraft production. 16 to 20 pages in each issue, illustrated with b+w photos.
