What's Here:
Established in 1999 from the former Classic Jets Museum, this museum houses a range of airframes from the 1950s and 1960s. The museum was forced to close in late 2007 to accomodate infrastructure development at the airport, but was able to reopen in October 2008 at a new location not far from the previous site. Unfortunately the aircraft are now exposed to the open air and are no longer housed in a hangar. Location:At Bournemouth International Airport, Hurn, west of the A338, north of Bournemouth in Dorset.
