Bristol Aero Collection
(An Unofficial Guide)

What's Here:

The Bristol Aero Collection is dedicated to preserving the aircraft, helicopters and aero engines produced by the Bristol Aircraft Company. An added attraction at this location is the presence on the airfield of Delta Jets, which restores and operates a number of airworthy jet warbirds. Although not open to the public, Delta Jets stages one or two airshows each year, and its aircraft can often be seen parked on the apron. Bristol Britannia XM496 is not part of the Bristol Aero Collection, but is also open to visitors whenever to collection is open. As a result of the approaching expiry of it's lease on hangar A1, the collection moved during the winter 2005-06 to a smaller hangar on the same site.
