What's Here:
The Dumfries & Galloway Aviation Museum is located on an expanding industrial estate - the site of the former Dumfries airfield. As well as an impressive display compound of aircraft, the restored control tower houses many exhibits, including several aero engines. The Trident fuselage has been converted into an education centre and lecture hall, with further displays. Location:Follow signs for 'Enterprise Park' from the A701, to the north of Dumfries.
