What's Here:

The Dumfries & Galloway Aviation Museum is located on an expanding industrial estate - the site of the former Dumfries airfield. As well as an impressive display compound of aircraft, the restored control tower houses many exhibits, including several aero engines. The Trident fuselage has been converted into an education centre and lecture hall, with further displays.

Opening Hours:

Open first weekend in April (or Easter if this takes place earlier) until the end of October, Saturdays and Sundays 10.00 am to 5.00 pm; also Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 11.00 am to 4.00 pm from July to August. Admission possible during the winter by prior appointment.

Admission:

£2.00 Adults, £1.00 children.

Toilets, Parking, Souvenir shop, Picnic area, Partial access for the disabled.
