What's Here:
The Museum of the Royal Artillery is now called 'Firepower'. Following a major refurbishment, the new-look museum shows the science and technology of gunnery from the earliest times to the present day. New multimedia displays and interactive hands-on exhibits are featured. An Auster AOP.9 takes centre stage in a display tracing the history of airborne artillery spotting and aerial reconnaissance. Location:Signposted off the A205 South Circular, at The Farndale Building off Plumstead Road, Woolwich. Just along the riverside from the Woolwich Ferry. Note: 'The Rotunda' is now closed.
