To honour local man R J Mitchell, the designer of the Spitfire, the museum has on display a Castle Bromwich-built Spitfire XVI.

Opening Hours:

Open Monday to Saturday 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, Sunday 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, November 1st to February 28th; Monday to Saturday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, Sunday 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, March 1st to October 31st.

Admission:

Free.
