North East Aircraft Museum

What's Here:

The well-run North East Aircraft Museum features two display halls and a restoration workshop which is open to visitors. An impressive collection of aircraft is on show, together with a large number of aero engines and many other aviation artefacts. Themed displays include the Royal Observer Corps and the aviation heritage of the local area.

Location:

Opposite the Nissan car factory, east of Washington on the Old Washington Road between the A1290 and A1231. Signposted from the A1290 and A19 or follow signs for the Nissan factory. See this location on Microsoft Live Search Maps

Open daily 10.00 am to 5.00 pm (or dusk if first).
