I assume you know, but the airfield at Woodford in Cheshire is closing soon - and there is a complete Vulcan there (XM603) - it'd be amazing if some of you guys at Brunty could save it, would that be possible? I'm nothing to do with Woodford or that Vulcan, just grew up in the area & love jets, it'd be such a travesty if the aircraft was just destroyed after being preserved since 1982! I have many fond memories of my days at Handley Page (Park Street Test House) as a student working on Victor tanker conversion and ground support for test bed XA922 and static fatigue rig.
