What’s Here

First opened in the summer of 2007, the museum covers the history of RAF Davidstow Moor 1942-1945, and also the RAF, Army and Navy in Cornwall. It has exhibits displaying the home front, the Davidstow/Falklands exercise in 1982, and has a film show running throughout the day and guided tours of the airfield by arrangement.

Directions

On the C-class road close to the junction of the A39 from Wadebridge and the A395 from Launceston, north of Camelford, north Cornwall. The actual museum is located mid-way between the factory and the airfield itself. See this location on Microsoft Live Search Maps

Opening Hours:

Open Wednesday to Sunday 4 April 2009 to 7 November, 10.00 am to 5.00 pm; every day July to September 2009, 10.00 am to 5.00 pm; closed Mondays and Tuesdays in April-June and October-November. Closed during the winter.
