What’s Here

The Aeropark has recently completed its move to a new location close to the Donington Grand Prix Car collection, and re-opened for visitors on 9th August 2001. A number of the exhibits are currently being worked on by volunteers to bring them up to a presentable standard, after being put in virtually open storage during the enforced museum move. The erection of a new Romney building has allowed the unique B.N. Sheriff and a Vampire fuselage pod to go undercover. It also houses the toilets and a shop for souvenirs and light refreshments.

Directions

On the north-western corner of Nottingham East Midlands Airport, near Castle Donington, two miles from Junction 24 on the M1. Well signposted. The site is reached by going past the airport main entrance on the A453 and then driving clockwise round the outside perimeter of the airport past the Castle Donington Showground until you reach a roundabout which leads to the Aeropark (right) or Castle Donington village (left).
