What’s Here

The Museum of the Royal Artillery is now called ‘Firepower’. Following a major refurbishment, the new-look museum shows the science and technology of gunnery from the earliest times to the present day. New multimedia displays and interactive hands-on exhibits are featured. An Auster AOP.9 takes centre stage in a display tracing the history of airborne artillery spotting and aerial reconnaissance.

Opening Hours:

Open Wednesday to Sunday 10.30 am to 5.00 pm (last admission 4.00 pm). Open daily during all school holidays and Bank Holidays. Closed Christmas and New Year.
