What’s Here
Formerly located at the Museum of Army Transport in Beverley, the sole surviving example of the Blackburn Beverley tactical transport has been moved to Fort Paull. It is currently undergoing re-assembly and is expected to be on public display during Easter 2005. Fort Paull is a military museum housed in a Napoleonic Fort. Apart from the collection of military vehicles and artillery pieces, visitors will find a series of historical tableaux featuring wax-work figures and a Falconry Centre.
Directions
Off the A1033 between Kingston-upon-Hull and Hedon. Take the Paull road at Salt End roundabout, or continue into Hedon and turn right at the cross roads. Continue along Back Lane in Paull, at the far end take Thorngumbald Road – the Fort is the second turning on the right. See this location on Microsoft Live Search Maps
