What’s Here

Located in a building near the main gate of the former Battle of Britain fighter airfield is this museum. Four rooms of material are devoted to the history of the aerodrome, whose aircraft defended London between 1916 and 1958. Numerous exhibits portray the units and personnel stationed here. The Hurricane FSM is actually located at the airfield main entrance.

Directions

At North Weald, off the A414, from Junction 7 of the M11, east of Harlow. Access to Hurricane Way is from North Weald village and NOT via the airfield entrance.
