What’s Here

Not to be confused with the Kent airfield of the same name, the Visitor Centre in the terminal building here houses a number of well presented displays portraying the 95 year history of this well known airfield. The Transair Pilot Shop can also be visited at this airfield, and has Tornado P03 XX947 as a Gate Guardian. In November 2012 the airfield was renamed ‘Brighton Airport’ to give publicity to a new airline route which was soon suspended.

In the Visitor Centre at Brighton Airport, Shoreham, west of the River Adur, south of the A27. Signposted.
