What’s Here

The Derby Industrial Museum featured an extensive aero engine gallery, reflecting the products of local producer Rolls-Royce. The well presented exhibits ranged from an early Eagle to a modern RB.211 turbofan. The museum itself was housed in one of the world’s first modern factories, dating from 1717. Other galleries featured many other aspects of Derby’s rich industrial heritage.
