I am writing a book about Ridgewell, WWII, The Mighty Eighth, the 381st and my Uncle who was killed on Mission 222 out of Ridgewell. I am seeking info on how, when and from whom Ridgewell was purchased for the RAF and ultimately for the USA. Also I want info on the return of the property to the current owners. I have visited Ridgewell and know Dave Osborne and have communicated with Jim Tennent. Any help you might provide would be great.
Regards
