What’s Here

Not to be confused with the Kent airfield of the same name, the Visitor Centre in the terminal building here houses a number of well presented displays portraying the 95 year history of this well known airfield. The Transair Pilot Shop can also be visited at this airfield, and has Tornado P03 XX947 as a Gate Guardian.

Visiting

Opening Hours:

Open daily 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, May to September; 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, October to April. Guided tours are organised on a regular basis – booking essential. (There is a small charge for guided tours).

Admission:

Admission free to the Visitor Centre, but donations are appreciated.
