What’s Here

Located on the former RAF Woodhall Spa, wartime home of 617 ‘Dambusters’ and 627 Squadrons is this visitors centre. The history of the base and its units are portrayed by various displays and artefacts. Other displays show life in wartime Lincolnshire.

Opening Hours:

Open Sunday and Bank Holidays 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, Easter to September; plus Wednesdays in July and August 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

Admission:

By donation.

    Hi.
    Just a few corrections.
    4 Squadrons 617 619 627 97
    Entry fee £3.00 per person, under 12 free.
    Opening time is now 1pm – 5pm.
    David a volunteer at the centre.

    Located on the former RAF Woodhall Spa, wartime home of 97,617 ‘Dambusters’,619 and 627 Squadrons. The history of the base and its units are portrayed by various displays and artefacts. Other displays show civilian life in Lincolnshire during the Second World War.
    The Opening time: Open Sunday and Bank Holidays 1pm – 5pm, Easter to September; plus Wednesdays in July and August 1pm – 5pm. Adult £3.- and Children under 12 free with Adult.
