Twenty-two Bell-built and Agusta-built 212s delivered from 1973. Used by ? Squadron in the ? role. Withdrawn in 1999 when replaced by the UH-1H. Five restored to service from 2007.

History

Twelve AB.212 obtained from Italy in 1980. Possibly initially procured for the Public Security Flying Wing, but in full BAAF markings by 1995. Used by 3 Squadron for transport duties and civilian policing.

Agusta-Bell AB47G
in Armed Forces of Malta service

History

Three AB.47G-2 donated by West Germany (ex-HEER) and delivered in May 1972. Used for patrol and Search & Rescue duties. Overhauled at Bergamo, Italy 1975-mid 1976. Two of the AB.47s were put into storage from 1997 and then sold.
