As civil aircraft, no national markiings are carried. The service insignia is the head of a bear in gold. Fixed wing aircraft carry the service title FRONTIER GUARD in English. Helicopters carry the service title in Finnish as RAJAVARTIOLAITOS on the port side and in Swedish as GRÄNSBEVAKNINGEN on the starboard side.
