History

The Beech 18/C-45 Expeditor was another single aircraft that was serving the Cyprus military by 1968 in a very basic role of transport, utility and observation. The type was replaced by the BN-2T Defender series aircraft in 1982.
The aircraft type could haul around 9500lbs of cargo, and was reliable mechanically.
This type was not reserved for the air museum, though curiously enough, a pair of British Shackletons did and are now on display at Paphos.
