The BN-2T (BN.2B-20) Turbine Islander is a robust maritime surveillance aircraft used by the Cyprus Police and armed forces to perform airborne recon and command roles. Only one aircraft of this specific type was in use, acquired in 1990, and was regularly observed performing anti-terrorist and anti-smuggling operations. It was retired in March 2012.
