History
The unit was formed as 1 Escuadrilla de Caza in 1929 with 7 Wilbault 73. Later the unit was disbanded and only reformed in 1978 with the arrival of the MB-326 as Escuadrón de Caza "Guarani". The aircraft are jointly used by the Escuadrillas "Orion" and "Centauro". The unit was disbanded in 2007 and its aircraft are stored at Base Aérea Silvio
