The unit was formed in 1991 with Lockheed AT-33A donated from Taiwan. The aircraft are jointly used by the Escuadrillas "Taurus" and "Scorpio". The unit was disbanded in 2007 and most of its aircraft are stored at Base Aérea Silvio Pettirossi IAP.
