Helicopter Squadron

The Helicopter Squadron was formed in 1992 to operate the Mil Mi-8 and Mi-17. Its main roles are utility and personnel transport. In July 1998 some heavy lift capabiity was added with the arrival of two Mi-26T helicopters.
